Confidentiality

As a childminder I will almost inevitably aquire information about the children in my care, their families and their social circumstances. Parents will be made aware of and have access to all records I keep about their child and why such records are necessary. Such information may give me a greater understanding of a child's needs and enable me to provide a better quality of childcare. All information on children and families is kept securely and treated in confidence.
