If your child has any food allergies and requires a modified diet, you must notify me of the situation in writing. Please also provide a Doctor’s written instruction describing any foods your child is not permitted to eat. Whenever possible, an appropriate alternative should be suggested or provided.
Included within my fee are breakfast (for children who arrive at 8am) and all drinks and snacks.
A home cooked lunch and light tea can be provided if required. Menus are devised to take into consideration the age of the children. A typical menu would be:
Breakfast:
Choice of wholegrain cereal, wholemeal toast, fruit, pure/diluted fruit juice
Lunch:
Mon: Cottage pie, sweetcorn & peas, fruit Jelly.
Tues: Homemade pizza with a choice of toppings, seasonal fruit crumble and custard.
Wed: Mild chicken curry and rice, fruit smoothie ice lollies.
Thurs: Chicken burgers, broccoli & potato wedges, rice pudding.
Fri: Spinach, cheese and tomato lasagne, oatmeal raisin cookies.
Light tea:
Freshly filled sandwiches, pitas or wraps, Filled jacket potatoes or homemade soup. Typical sandwich fillings include; egg mayo & cress/ watercress, mashed sardines mixed with tomato sauce, grated cheese with tomato & lettuce, cream cheese and cucumber, tuna mayo with celery, chicken with salad, houmous, tuna & sweetcorn.
Snacks:
Provided mid morning and afternoon - fruit, yogurt, miniature cheeses, chunks of raw veg, bread sticks, rice cakes, mini packs of dried fruit, homemade muffins and biscuits.
All meals are made from scratch using organic or equally good quality produce to avoid large quantities of sugar, salt and additives.
Fresh drinking water is available at all times.
